This story makes my heart happy.
In Kenya we have 7 SENIORS about to sit for final high school exams, and we have 4 Class 8 students about to sit for their final exams. All the kids are at school during the school holiday “cramming” and taking mock exams. These exams have such a significant level of impact that they truly do determine the future of a child.
We happened to stop by these schools not even really knowing that our scholars were there, and happily we got to see the ones that were there “cramming” away. We were able to give them a pep talk, deliver a few letters from their donors, and take a few photos. It was fun to be able to give them a break and a bit of time to tell us how they are doing.
This reminds me why what we do is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo important.
